Description
“Poverty is winning the game!” The message had to be clear, in your face, inescapable, fast, urgent, exciting and sometimes scary. A mixture of images capturing global capitalism and world poverty. Rarely one receives a special projects like this.
Nicolas Benac, Juan Gélas and Naïve Records approached me to create an expressive lyric video for Femi Kut. The result is a raw video full of vibrant messages, expressive visceral graphics and recycled cut-ups in combination with the Afrobeat grooviness of Femi Kuti.
